
This weekend: BC Greenhouse Veggie Days
BC Greenhouse Veggie Days celebrates the annual springtime arrival of locally grown greenhouse veggies from BC’s 42 Greenhouse Growers located throughout the Lower Mainland. During the long, dreary winter months our greenhouses are full of activity as new seedlings mature into ripe crops. The fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce and more are harvested and arrive in stores with the spring.

BlueShore Financial Mother’s Day Run and Brunch
The BlueShore Financial Mother’s Day Run is presented by The Westin Bayshore. The event combines fitness and indulgence for families of all ages. Enjoy a brisk 3k, 5k or 10k run (or walk) through beautiful Stanley Park and Coal Harbour. A commemorative scarf and gift bag will greet runners at the finish line, follow by a decadent post-run brunch. Enjoy champagne giveaways, kids’ activities, and a massive feast at the Westin Bayshore’s main ballroom

The province-wide Buy BC: Eat Drink Local promotion starts is designed as a hub for drinking and dining locally across BC. The promotion is about celebrating BC flavours and encouraging consumer preference for BC food and beverage through every channel.
