22nd Whistler Cornucopia
Nov 8th to 18th, 2018
Though just returned from Europe a week ago, I’ll soon be packing my bag, again! This time to a closer and colder destination – Whistler, and for a very fun and delicious reason: Cornucopia 2018.
This annual food & wine extravaganza will be celebrating its 22nd year of bringing in global food and drinks in different forms and manners, turning the already world-renowned ski mecca to a food and wine haven for 11 days.
From November 8 to 18 this year, thousands of foodies and wine-lovers will be flocking to Whistler to check out 100+ events. The good thing is, you can go to one of as many as you desire. From learning how to cook with famed chefs at the Chef Table Luncheon and Culinary Stage demos and cooking classes to learning to appreciate beers, wines and spirits in depth at Winemaker Dinners, Drink Seminars and Signature Tastings, to party to new notes at new heights at Night Parties, no one will leave empty-handed.
In case you still not sure what to do, where to eat, drink, learn and have fun. These are the events I’m attending this year:
Signature Event: Cellar Door Grand Tasting and Crush Grand Tasting
Culinary Stage Series: Chef Dan Hayes, The London Chef
Spanish Wines: Vivacious Vinos
Masters on the Edge: Trendsetting Winemakers on the West Coast
